I’ve experienced being let go from my job. It’s scary knowing you have financial commitments, and your primary source of income is at the hands of corporate leadership. Investing in real estate has provided me peace of mind in times when income can be volatile.
Income + Appreciation
My primary real estate strategy has been in rental property. I enjoy my Ecommerce work and it’s reassuring to have a steady stream of passive rental income. Yet, most of my wealth has been built through appreciation. Rather than spending my savings on liabilities, I made a conscious effort to spent it on appreciating assets. Today, my portfolio has enabled me to choose to work, focus on time with family, and feel secure that I’m building generational wealth.

Over time, I’ve grown to hate the 9-5 corporate work environment. The pressure of flawless execution, the anxiety of potentially losing your job, and the office politics have made me feel the lowest of lows from time to time. I hate that a job has that much control over me.
