A bit about me.
My mom taught me I can do anything. My dad taught me I can do everything.
I grew up in Southside Stockton, where resources are limited but effort is rewarded. My Philippine immigrant parents’ love language is work and they expected me to show them my love. Early Saturday mornings crushing and recycling cans, weekends spent cleaning, and summer breaks renovating our home became routine.
Yet, my parents valued education. My mom is an academic scholar who graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree from the Philippines that counted for nothing here in the US. My dad completed high school and received automotive technician training that launched his career. They understood how powerful a US education could be and allowed me to focus. Busy, manual labor days were followed by breaks where I could focus on academics.
And focus, I did. After graduating Edison High, I went on to UC Berkeley to earn my Bachelor’s in Sociology. I went into the workforce immediately after graduating in 2012, then I balanced a full-time job while earning my Master’s in Public Administration at USC and my Master’s in Business Administration at UCLA. As often as I had my head down in the books, I kept my hands working on household projects alongside my parents. Today, that balancing act has now become my passion as I focus on Real Estate and Ecommerce.
It’s not lost on me how my privilege has gotten me to where I am today, so I always aim to lift as I climb. I love creating plans for anyone who wants to get started investing Real Estate or wants to grow their Ecommerce business, and it’s important to me to give back through my Causes.
